I found this really great free resource, online today. It is a free book!
“Why do so many young adults (18 to 22) leave the church, and what will it take to bring them back? This important question is examined and duly answered in Essential Church? : reclaiming a generation of dropouts , a follow-up to Thom S. Rainer’s best-selling Simple Church co-written this time with his son, research expert Sam Rainer.”
And the download link is here!
I am excited about reading this book. I just finished UnChristian and think this will carry a similar theme.
This is a really neat resource!
podBible is the Bible. On your iPod. Hence the name “podBible”. And it is free.
You simply download the Bible on your IPod – the ESV edition from their website. And then you have the ESV on your IPod ready to read at any time!!
Check it out!!!
Have you ever took time to just picture the narratives you read about in the Bible in real life….and dreamed that you were in the settings. I have, maybe you could say I’ve watched WAY too many Veggie Tale videos. But I’ve always been somewhat of a dreamer.
Recently I’ve tried to picture what it would be like to be Adam (or Eve). I’ve wonder what was on the other trees.
I took a walk with God and talked to him one-on-one! Wow. No sin to drag us down. No sin distancing me and my maker. Amazing!
Hanging out with all the animals God created, just being content and in love with God and Eve, What a dream! Can you picture that?
That would be sweet.
Now for fun, I throw in a Veggie Tale video clip:
Today is my 23rd Bday. It is a free day off from the blog for me.
Online from Harris Interactive,
you can view a free newsletter with statistics related to social networking and youth today, not limited to just teenagers. It is a great resource and also very interesting. It is surprising to me how many children are online today. It is a little scary too.
This video is pretty cool, it is from Godtube.com. This guy is full of energy and he is funny. But he is good and a great singer. This song is a “christian” version of ‘Umbrella.’ Enjoy.
